Our Story
Tala Gouraki spent over a decade working inside Australia’s aged care and disability system. As a personal support worker, enrolled nurse, registered nurse, clinical care manager, and general manager, she watched the same thing happen again and again.
Families doing their best in a system not built for them. Carers burning out. People living with dementia being treated like case numbers rather than people.
So in 2024, she built something different.
IntenseCare was founded on a simple idea: that the right support, delivered by the right people, can restore something a diagnosis tries to take away. Not just function. Family.
