Tala Gouraki spent over a decade working inside Australia’s aged care and disability system — as a personal support worker, enrolled nurse, registered nurse, clinical care manager, and general manager. And she watched the same thing happen again and again.
Families doing their best in a system not built for them. Carers burning out. People living with dementia being treated like case numbers rather than people.
IntenseCare was founded on a simple idea: that the right support, delivered by the right people, can restore something a diagnosis tries to take away.
